Caught this industrious little guy about to head underwater and make for his den. From our Grand Teton’s workshop at Schwabacher’s Landing.

Technique And Composition:

Sometimes with wildlife photography you get lucky and you get just a little bit of time to line the shot up.

I was lucky in that I was able to divide this scene into horizontal thirds. I managed to get the main subject’s nose sitting at a thirds intersection line as well.

There are some reasonable leading lines within the ripples pulling you into the subject.
