Never Too Old To Shine

While doing some scouting for our upcoming Columbia River Gorge workshop, ran across this old gem, in a field, at sunset. Proving you are never to old to shine.

CAMERA:

Canon 5D MarkIV

LENS:

Tamron SO 24-70mm f/2.8

ACCESSORIES:

Really Right Stuff L-Bracket,
Really Right Stuff Series 3 Tripod

EXPOSURE SETTING:

ISO 2000, 1/320 (+1.3) @ f/16.0 – 29mm

Technique And Composition:

I made a careful survey of the scene, and knew I wanted to anchor the truck in at least one corner of the frame. Ultimately I decided to anchor it from the entire left edge, giving me a leading line right out to the sunset across the plains.

I selected my aperture, of f/16, so I could get a nice star flare of the sunset.
