Dream Big

I have always said “everything happens for a reason.” I was recently on a scouting trip for workshop locations and we ran into some bad weather and road closures. The extra miles were to say the least, worth it. From Yosemite National Park.

Tamron SO 24-70mm f/2.8

ACCESSORIES:

Really Right Stuff L-Bracket,
Really Right Stuff Series 3 Tripod

EXPOSURE SETTING:

ISO 400, 1/125 (0.0) @ f/16.0 – 24mm

Technique And Composition:

All the pieces in this image just naturally lined up, but then again, maybe that’s why there is a scenic overlook there.

Natural anchors pulling the viewer’s eye in from the corners, right down the valley.

Additionally some really nice geometric balance between the big tree on the left and the mountains and waterfall on the right.
