Technique And Composition:

Sometimes when shooting wildlife, you just have to grab then the way they are. I was fortunate that this bear framed up nicely in the image and made a nice diagonal in the frame.

I opened up the aperture as far as it would go, so I could get the subject in focus and everything else a nicely creamy background color. Due to this limited depth-of-field, I fell the bear really stands out nicely from the rest of the frame.
