“Parked Lines”

Across from the Columbus Convention Center is their new parking garage, with color tones that match the original building (the verdict is still out on those selections). At any rate I found the lines and colors compelling, so here you are.

A fair amount of the time, when I am out street shooting, I am looking for lines, shapes, patterns and colors. Found this new structure while I was wandering around downtown Columbus and it fit the bill perfectly.

While taking this shot I focused on keeping the lines and the framing where I wanted them to be in the final image and keeping an eye on the exposure. The meter was dead on in this scene, but I wasn’t initially sure that that was going to be the case, nice surprises are always good!
