As you might have seen in my previous post, I love Orchids for a myriad of reasons. Such delicate, yet complex blooms.
This image takes advantage of a low ISO to effectively eliminate the background ambient light and a little manual flash to fill in the foreground elements that I found interesting in the composition.
Definitely getting comfortable with the Canon MP-E65mm lens and very happy with the sharpness of the images I am getting from it.
